If you really want to work as a caregiver in Canada, I strongly suggests that you register or send your resume to as many caregiver agency as you can to increase your chances of being hired. You should also begin your application as early as possible because the application process for a caregiver job in Canada takes time. To qualify for caregiver jobs in Canada, you must meet the following requirements set by the Canadian Government under the live in caregiver program:
* At least six months of caregiver jobs training, or at least one year of full-time experience (including six months with one employer) during the past three years
* Successful completion of the equivalent of Canadian secondary school.
* A job confirmation letter from a Canadian employer.
* A written contract with your future employer.
* A work permit before you enter Canada
* Good knowledge of English or French
