In order for foreign individuals to enter and work as caregiver UK, they will need to have a legitimate immigration or entry status for that purpose. The caregiver UK applicant also need to have any of the following requirements like a working holiday visa, UK ancestry visa, a valid EU passport, or UK right to abode certificates for them to be able to work UK in either temporary or permanent caregiver UK jobs. If you do not have any of the above mentioned papers, you need to have a sponsor who is a citizen of the United Kingdom and you need to be registered with the GSCC to work as caregiver UK in the social care sector. The General Social Care Council or the GSCC was formed during the last quarter of 2001 to maintain the standards for the social care workforce in England through setting and monitoring standards for the industry.
To further safeguard the social care industry and those who want to work as caregiver UK, a decree was approved by the UK government that would require all social workers or those who want to work as caregiver UK to be registered with the GSCC on or before April 2005. After that, all caregiver UK who wasn’t able to register will be violating the decree if they use the title “social worker” without being registered with the GSCC and this law is called “Protection of Title”. This legal move was aimed to guarantee a more regulated industry and better protection for those who want to work as caregiver. To view the country assessment guide for foreign workers who want to work as caregiver UK click HERE.
When registering with the GSCC to work as caregiver UK or social workers, the GSCC will check your character, health, and qualifications. The qualification check is aimed at ensuring that each caregiver UK applicant has reached the same level of training as the UK Diploma in social work.
For more info about the GSCC and its requirements for registration, registration fees and the qualifications for foreigners who want to work as caregiver UK, you may log on to their website at www.gscc.org.uk/Home/

Miss Orobio,
I think that the only option available to you now is to apply for a student visa. In UK, there is an agency that offers caregiver training and while undergoing training, you will receive compensation. If you are interested, I strongly suggest that you read my article titled Caregiver Training in UK. It’s on the same website Caregiver Work Abroad. The caregiver agency involved is Caring Careers Training and this agency can help you if you want to work in UK as a caregiver.
